Simrad Announces Exclusive Partnership With Sportsman Boats

 Electronics Leader Signs Agreement With Leading Powerboat Manufacturer

 

Simrad Yachting, a leader in the design and manufacture of world-class marine navigation, autopilot, radar, communications and fishfinding systems, announced today its exclusive partnership with Sportsman Boats Manufacturing. The Simrad NSS evo2 system is now the standard navigation system on all 2015 model year Sportsman high-performance bay boats, center console and dual console boats.

 

Sportsman delivers intuitively designed vessels with cutting-edge technology and innovative features. The NSS evo2 offers Sportsman owners a user-friendly interface for all functions including charting, integrated CHIRP and sonar, as well as optional entertainment and radar systems such as the award-winning 4G Broadband radar. On bay boats and most dual and center console models, the NSS evo2 standard offering features a 7-inch screen and transducer. The Sportsman 251 center console comes standard with a 12-inch NSS evo2 configuration. Additionally, Sportsman 247 bay boats, as well as all center and dual console boats include SonicHub entertainment systems, as standard. Options vary by model, but include a second 7-inch display or an upgrade to a 12-inch screen, StructureScan sonar, SonicHub entertainment, RS12 VHF radio, GoFree wireless and 4G Radar.
